St Andrews is Scotland’s oldest university, and is regularly near the top of rankings. Over the last 600 years, the university has established a reputation as one of the world’s leading research and teaching centres.

Student satisfaction: 94 per cent

Keele University is the largest campus university in the UK with 617 acres worth of estate for students to enjoy.

 

4. Courtauld Institute of Art 

Student satisfaction: 94 per cent

The institute’s location may help to explain its high scoring satisfaction rate – the Courtauld is based on The Strand by the north bank of the River Thames, next to Waterloo Bridge, in central London.

Student satisfaction: 95 per cent
